“We are designed to make a difference.”

This is one of our values at Canyon Springs and this is the phrase we are leaning into during this season. In a time where everyone is looking “in” we are challenging our people to look “out.” Read through the ATTACHED PDF on what church is going to look like for the foreseeable future!

What to Expect:

  • For the foreseeable future, we are not having organized church activities.
  • Kids Ministry will be sending out some resources to keep your kids engaged with their faith.
  • Oasis will be doing periodic live streams to keep the students connected to their faith.
  • Again, this Sunday 3/22/2020 we will have a live stream at 9:30am and will provide the YouTube link about 15 minutes before our live service!  During our Sunday Service we will:
    • Continue in our series “Dawn is Coming”
    • Continue to speak to spiritual discussions on Covid-19
    • Gather as a community online. Just because we are isolated doesn’t mean we have to be alone!

Ongoing Resources & Community Needs

We will continue to update this section with resources, spiritual ideas and community

We have new resources available this week that will help you stay connected to your faith and church family!  Along with these resources, we have more ways that you and your family can open your arms to our community and help!

Here are some new things we are doing:

  • We are praying every evening together from 5:14pm – 5:16pm on INSTAGRAM LIVE  @canyonspringschurch.
  • We will provide periodic “Pop-up Devotions” streaming live on Instagram throughout the week.  These can be found by following @oasissd (High School) & @oasismiddle (Middle School) and for YOU Kid City kiddos follow @csc_kidcity!
  • Pastor Jack is available for prayer requests! He would LOVE to hear from you! Share with him how you and your family are doing and if you have any needs that we can help with!  Contact him at (858)414-7777.

Pastor Ruben can be reached by phone at (702) 277-8765.

Our “Cornavirus Verse”

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

All Resources

We have a lot of resources to help you and your family.  You can access all of them on our shared GOOGLE DRIVE by clicking HERE

Here is an idea of what is in there:

  • Ideas of how you can serve your neighbor
  • Locations of meals for students
  • Kids club activities and curriculum to do at home
  • List of students in our church that can babysit

We will keep adding resources as we continue to talk to other churches and develop more ideas on how to help and serve our church community and San Diego during this time.
