Key Practices of Biblical Living

REGULAR WORSHIP:  Attending weekly Sunday services to worship, learn, and grow together. Hebrews 10:24-25

SERVING: Using your time and gifts to serve within the church or outreach ministries. 1 Peter 4:10

INVITING OTHERS: Sharing your faith story and inviting others to church or spiritual events. 2 Corinthians 5:20

FINANCIAL GIVING: Supporting the church’s mission through regular tithes and offerings. 2 Corinthians 9:7

SMALL GROUP & FELLOWSHIP: Building community through small groups, shared meals, prayer, and mutual support. Acts 2:46-47

LEARNING THE WORD: Engaging with Scripture during worship and personal or group study. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

PRAYER: Participating in prayer during services and cultivating daily personal prayer habits. Philippians 4:6

What Does it Mean to be a Member of Canyon Springs Church

At Canyon Springs Church, membership means choosing to belong – to God, to this community, and to a shared journey of faith. It’s not about perfection or performance, but about connection and commitment. As someone who calls Canyon Springs Church my spiritual home and believes that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, I joyfully affirm the following:

I understand that being a member of Canyon Springs Church begins with a shared foundation of faith and a commitment to belonging in this community:

  • BELIEVE: I believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit.  I believe that Jesus, being both God and man, died for my sins and rose again. I confess Him as my Lord and Savior and commit to follow Him all the days of my life.
  • HOME: I call Canyon Springs Church my home church.

Intentions For Spiritual Growth:

I understand that following Jesus is a lifelong journey, and as part of this community, I’m encouraged to grow in the following ways – not as requirements, but as life-giving practices:

  • WORSHIP TOGETHER: Participating regularly in Sunday services to grow in faith and connection.
