Looking for something different to do on Thanksgiving morning with your friends, family, spouse, other half or just yourself? Join us for a morning hike at Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve. Starting at the North end in Peñasquitos Creek Park, we’ll head out on the trail to the Penasquitos Waterfall. It’s an easy, out-and-back hike suitable for all ages!

The hike to the waterfall is approximately 1.75 mi out, so around 3.5 mi round trip. But since it’s an out & back, you can turn around anytime you wish. In the past, we’ve been out for approx 2.5 hours: approx 1 hour to get to waterfall, 15-30min break, and then 1 hour to return. (Back to our cars ~10:30am)

No need to RSVP or otherwise – just show up!

COVID Notice – Due to COVID guidelines, we maintain social distancing between your family groups/pods. Please wear masks upon arrival and meeting. Masks on the trail should be worn if/when around or passing others and as your comfort level warrants.
