I know it’s hard for some people to believe that the Bible is still relevant to our lives today, but the more you explore what God has to say to us in His word the more you will realize that the transforming power of God’s word never goes out of style.  It is still as powerful and life changing today as it was 2,000 years ago.
Every Sunday the staff at Canyon Springs works hard to communicate the power of God’s truth in messages that connect the Bible with our every day life.  Check out our message archives and you’ll see.  You’ll laugh, you’ll relate, but more importantly you’ll see that God’s story can change your story and help you start a new chapter in your life.

One Thing

Too often, we make huge plans and major resolutions, and we get burned out when we can’t keep them. What we ought to do is make small, manageable, incremental changes that really add up. When we guard our words, make our thoughts obedient to Christ, and cultivate new actions, we can see long-term life change. 1.) David’s One Thing was closeness. Psalm 27:4-5 2.) Martha’s One Thing was presence. Luke 10:38-42 3.) Paul’s One Thing was forgetting. Philippians 3:12-14 4.) The rich man’s One Thing was trust. Mark 10:17-23 ** What’s your One Thing in 2018? Whole? Serve? Joyful? Patient? Calm? Deep? Friends? Connected? Purpose? Happily Married? Financial Peace?
