Welcome to the Oasis Middle blog!
Have You Heard the News? Oasis Middle is Drawing Near!
In a season of separation, Oasis Middle is drawing NEAR! We’re meeting for two nights where we’ll be gathering to draw near to the Lord, leaders, and friends.
Students will get to experience the typical winter camp feel all while staying in San Diego. We’re bringing in a dynamic guest speaker, high energy guest worship band, and adding experiential worship elements for middle schoolers to reconnect with God and their groups, learning that God calls us to nearness with him.
Not only that, but students will also enjoy treats and dinner from food trucks, dance the night away with a silent disco, compete in a lip sync battle, play endless rounds of Gaga Ball, and so much more!

Celebrating Black History Month
Teenagers have always been quite opinionated, whether about their favorite team, band, or meal. Some may be roaring to share their thoughts while others are quieter. Young people are not excluded in the political atmosphere–rather they’re developing ideas about what the world should look like and speaking out about it. As parents and mentors, we should encourage youth to dream of a better world that is spurred on by the Gospel. This week, open up a discussion with your son or daughter by reading this article: How Youth Activists Impacted the Civil Rights Movement.
