Our Christmas celebrations were a special time for our Women of Canyon Springs!

The past couple of weeks were fun and festive for the Women of Canyon Springs! Friday night, 37 women gathered at Julie Mountain’s house to celebrate the birth of Jesus with the “Women’s Christmas Dessert and Gift Exchange.” All decked out in our Christmas best, we ate sweets, sang ‘Silent Night’ by candlelight, and played a game to exchange our gifts using the story of Jesus’ birth in Luke 1-2. These women also had such generous hearts, as we collected over 35 of our favorite beauty products to donate to our Christian sisters in Mexico at Visio de Dios church.

The Christmas celebrations continued on Wednesday as the Growing in Grace Bible study women met at the beautiful Rancho Bernardo Inn. We all oohed and aahed at the life-sized REAL gingerbread house made with over 1,000 pounds of flour! It was a “sweet” time of sipping peppermint-flavored coffees and teas while chatting about our Christmas plans. It was lovely to have unhurried time together to connect before we took a break for Christmas.

We anticipate meeting up again on January 11, 2023, to start our new Bible Study on “The Power to Change,” about understanding the role of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Blessings,

Julie Mountain, Women of Canyon Springs Ministry Director
