Give back this Christmas with our Reverse Advent Calendar! Ever feel like you and your family sometimes miss the true meaning of Christmas? What if you had a daily Advent activity that focused on Jesus and the joy of giving? This Advent season participate in doing a Reverse Advent Calendar.
Here is how this works . . .
Over the next 24 days (starting 12/1/16) you and your family will collect items that will make a difference for those living in poverty right here in San Diego. This act of giving will be supported through daily scripture readings as we gain Biblical, practical insight on giving to those around us who need a helping hand.
Action Needed:
- Visit us at the Information Table this Sunday (11/27) and pick up your Advent Bag and Reverse Advent Calendar Guide.
- Follow the instructions on items to be placed in the bag and spend time daily in His word.
- On Christmas Eve, you will have a full Advent Bag that you bring to Christmas Eve service (1:00, 3:00 or 5:00pm).
- We will take care of delivering the bags to the San Diego Food Bank.

We have the Reverse Advent Calendar Guide online. Simply click this HERE and the guide walks your through the shopping list, daily devotions and provides a couple of stories of San Diego’s residents in need of a helping hand. Just provide your own large paper shopping bag to hold your items.
