Thanksgiving Morning Hike 2016

Looking for something different to do on Thanksgiving morning with your friends, family, spouse, other half or just yourself? Join us for a morning hike at Los Penasquitos Canyon Reserve. Starting at the East end at Canyonside Park, we’ll head towards the waterfall for a friendly-for-all morning hike.
The waterfall is approx 2.5mi out so that’d be a 5mi hike. Wanna go longer? Need to cut it short? No problem – this is an out & back and “go at your own pace” hike and good for anyone. It’s a fairly flat and wide trail so strollers are okay (though we recommend a Bob or similar)  Mountain Bikes are allowed (on specific paths), and so are horses if that’s your fancy (and you happen to have one ;))
No need to RSVP or otherwise – just show up.

Meeting / Departure Time

We will meet at 8:00am, spend a few minutes gathering up and leave promptly at 8:15am. 

Meeting Spot

We will meet at the West end of Canyonside Community Park. Enter park, drive to far end to Canyonside Field #8 (per Google Maps). Park in the adjacent dirt lot, just before the Ranch House entrance.
