Please join Canyon Springs Church for our annual Blessing Bags / Homeless Outreach event on Sunday, November 22nd at The Cove, our midweek facility at 2:00pm. We will assemble approximately 200 lunches and blessing bags for the homeless of San Diego. We will all head downtown that afternoon and distribute the lunches and blessing bags. This is a great event for the entire family.
If you are unable to participate on November 22nd, you can still be involved! You and your family or even your Small Group can make a bread-loaf worth of meat and cheese sandwiches to donate to the event. Additionally we are in need of the following items to make up the lunches and the Blessing Bags:
- Cases of water
Cookies- Lunch bags
- Candy
- Oranges (cuties)
- Sealed Snacks (crackers, chips, trail mix,etc.)
- Socks
- Winter Hats
- Baby Wipes
- Toothpaste / Toothbrush
- Gallon-size Zip Lock Bags

These items may be dropped of at The Cove between now and Sunday, November 22nd. We ask that the sandwiches be dropped off the afternoon of the event. If you and your family are planning to participate in the food and blessing bag distribution, please bring large bags or a box to load up your supply. Maps will be provided for the locations we visit downtown to distribute the lunches and blessing bags.
