Last summer, our VBS Mexico Mission Trip reached out with 70 people (two full buses ages 6-60) and served over 110 children and adults from Iglesia de Cristo in Colonia Altiplano, Tijuana, Mexico.

The VBS campers donated funds for uniforms for the children in Mexico. Each uniform cost $100, and the students could not attend school without one. Due to generous VBS donations, 26 children are now able to go to school!

Daniel Williams of Rio al Mar in Tijuana, Mexico wrote to Canyon Springs Church after the event. He included some great pictures along with his thank you:

Jill and Jilane,

Thank you for allowing Rio al Mar to serve with you this summer. You and CSC have made a big impact on the lives of children.

Thank you note: “My name is Salvador Morales Mantol. I am 12 years old. Thank you for buying my school uniform because we need it to return to classes, because we do not have money to buy them”.
