What made you decide to Volunteer?

To serve – to fill a need. To develop quality relationships with quality people. To be a part of something bigger than myself.

What is your favorite part about Volunteering?

The friends I have made and feeling that I am a part of my church family rather than just attending church.

Do you volunteer with organizations, outside of Canyon Springs

Yes. I help out at my children’s school in various ways (organizing events, classroom help, etc.). I also coach girls softball and help out with my son’s little league team.

About You

What is your job/profession?

Mom. And soon to be unemployed Office Manager.

Where were you born/raised?

My dad was in the Navy, so we moved around when I was younger, but most of my childhood was right here in Scripps Ranch!

What brought you to San Diego?

Leaving San Diego after High School, the Air Force sent me all over. It was my husband’s job that eventually brought us back to San Diego 14 years later.

Stuff & Random Tidbits

Indian, Vietnamese, and Thai food are my favorites. Date night is almost always at Curry & More.

What is one “interesting fact” about you?

As one of my summer options in college, I spent 3 weeks preparing for and jumping out of airplanes!

Thank you Kelli for your serving heart!
