Its official! Camp Season is over and many students had life-changing encounters with God that will impact their faith for the rest of their lives.
Camp isn’t always glamorous. It usually happens in the great outdoors without indoor bathrooms, sunburns, bugs, and many less-than-ideal circumstances. But, it’s always worth it. God is always faithful to reveal Himself in the hearts and lives of the students and volunteers that attend.
This year we took our Middle Schoolers to Forest Home for a week a couple of weeks after houseboats! We took 56 middle schoolers and headed up to the mountains to spend a week at camp. The students were able to participate in various activities such as zip lining, kayaking, water slides, mini golf and so much more. They also had independent solo time each morning and chapel at night. 6 students decided to commit their lives to the Lord for the first time. As always, these trips could not happen without our amazing volunteers and leaders who selflessly poured themselves out for these students!
To God be the glory!
