VBS 2025 Day 4 Recap

Day FOUR of VBS MAGNIFIED is in the books, and what a day it’s been! We’ve absolutely loved seeing our campers’ creativity shine during SUPER COLOR SPIRIT DAY. They showed up bright, bold, and ready to have fun! Even with all the excitement, our focus has stayed clear: we were made to MAGNIFY God, and our campers are learning just how powerful that truth is.

Before we dive into today’s VBS highlights, your kids may have come home buzzing about our mid-week programs start

🎯 AWANA (Kindergarten–3rd Grade)

Wednesdays | 5:15–6:45 PM

This fun-filled evening program helps kids build a strong foundation in God’s Word through games, Scripture memory, and engaging activities. Registration is normally $90 for the school year, but VBS families get a special discounted rate of $60!

🎉 Club 45 (4th–5th Grade)

Mondays | 6:30–8:00 PM

Club 45 is all about fun, connection, and growing in faith. Kids enjoy games, skits, snacks, and time in small groups with leaders and peers. This year’s focus will be a deep dive into the Fruit of the Spirit-one lesson at a time.

We are THRILLED to announce that your children have raised over $1,230 for our friends in Mexico!! At the end of the day, the girls added TWO stacks of school supplies BUT the boys added FOUR stacks. Which means- It’s a very close race and boys and girls are currently TIED!!!. I can’t wait to see how everything shakes out tomorrow and if we have a winner. I have heard of lots of lemonade stands and phone calls to grandparents to try to raise money. I love these kids’ hearts 🙂

Our campers were absolutely bursting with energy today! They worked hard and had a whole lot of fun rotating through all the stations.

🎨 In Crafts, they created the most adorable toadstool lanterns. They were so creative and full of charm! If you see Ms. Kathleen, Ms. Sandy, or Ms. Katie thank them for all their hard work in coming up with the cutest crafts.

🎉 Over at Rec, Mr. Michael kept everyone laughing with relays, Simon Says, and some friendly competition.

🎶 And Music? An absolute BLAST. The kids went all out for our fan-favorite “YES TO VBS” song- they never get tired of it! We also introduced our final song, “Faithful With It All.” Tomorrow Ms. Audrey & Ms. Natalie will be reviewing all five of our VBS songs and dances, so keep listening at home and practicing those lyrics!

📖 During Story Time, we focused on the powerful truth that Jesus forgives us. Our lesson came from John 3 and 1 Corinthians 15. The kids learned about Nicodemus, who visited Jesus at night to learn more about God’s kingdom. Later, Nicodemus helped prepare Jesus’ body for burial after He died on the cross. But the story didn’t end there. Three days later, the tomb was empty. Jesus rose from the dead, offering forgiveness and the gift of eternal life to all who believe.

We’re in the HOME STRETCH. Can you believe tomorrow is our last day together?! 😢

Just a quick reminder: pick-up time is still at noon. Right after camp, we’ll celebrate an amazing week with a fun Otter Pop party on the patio! If your camper wants to stick around for a few extra minutes to enjoy a treat, snap some photos, and get in those final hugs and high-fives with leaders and friends, we’d love to see you there!

Join us this Sunday, June 22nd at Canyon Springs Church for a special VBS Sunday! Come in your pajamas, enjoy pancakes, and celebrate with all your VBS friends and families. We’ll watch our official VBS highlight video and continue the fun as we wrap up an incredible week together.
