Thank you for supporting the work God is doing through Canyon Springs Church. In an effort to keep our congregation better informed, we’re sharing quarterly updates on giving and ministry impact.
Ministry Highlights
The theme for Q1 could be summed up in one word: camps!
- Man Camp! A couple dozen men went up to Palomar Christian Conference Center for a weekend filled with powerful moments of worship, deep connection, and life-changing conversations. Check out the Recap Here.
- Winter X Camp with Oasis was a powerful experience where students encountered Jesus, deepened their faith, and made memories in the snow.
- Middle School spent 3 days and nights up at Forest Home in the local mountains to not only have fun, but to grow closer with each other and closer with God.
- Club 45 went to Indian Hills for a weekend focused on what it means to find and follow Christ. Both camps were a huge success—and we’re so thankful for the leaders, volunteers, and supporters who made them happen.
Giving Update
As of March 2025, year-to-date giving totaled $132,000, which is $37,000 below our projected budget of $169,000. (Please note: this does not include the additional $16,000 given specifically toward the Transformation Initiative.) We’re grateful for your generosity and will continue stewarding every gift with faithfulness and transparency.
Other Highlights
We also welcomed new board members and elected a new board chair—Alicia Monroe, who has already been doing a fantastic job in her leadership role.
Finally, as many of you know, we received news of the Richards family’s upcoming transition. While we will deeply miss them, we are filled with hope and confidence in what God is continuing to do through Canyon Springs. This church was never built on a person—it was built on The One. And our mission to help people find and follow Jesus remains as strong as ever in 2025.
Speaking of which, the Elder Board will have an update coming up here in April about the pastoral transition and search.
Thank you for being part of this story.
Sincerely,
Your Canyon Springs Staff and Board
