Our Christmas trip to Mexico was fantastic! Enjoy a little bit about our event!

We had such a blast with 24 wonderful volunteers from Canyon Springs and welcomed 60 kids and their families at Vision De Dios. And thanks to everyone’s generosity and service, we collected over 200 cookies and toppings for the kids to decorate!

In addition to cookie decorating, the kids had a great time making ornaments and playing rec games, including our fan-favorite from the past several years, The Cup Game! We also read a story about how Jesus came to us as a small baby, with little hands and little feet, and how those same feet would one day walk on water.

To top it all off, each of the 60 kids received a wrapped present. Each gift included a few pairs of socks donated by the Women’s Ministry, along with a box of crayons, a coloring book, or a notebook, which were all donated by our Oasis high schoolers and middle schoolers.

We had so much help making this day possible, through donations from our youth, everyone who baked cookies or bought frosting, from the Women’s Ministry and their sock drive, and all our volunteers. We couldn’t have done it without you!
