We had an amazing time with our brothers and sisters of Vision de Dios!

Canyon Springs Church sent an amazing team of 27 – most of them youth and teens – on a one-day mission trip to Mexico, where we celebrated VBS with our friends at Visión de Dios.

We had a blast doing crafts, making coffee filter butterflies and pom-pom caterpillars with clothespins the kids could clip onto their shirts. We also played some amazing outdoor games. Our favorites were Head, Shoulders, Cup, and Cookie Face.

We also shared a beautiful story from Mark 10 about Jesus and the children. One of our awesome elementary-aged team members read the story out loud and did a great job engaging everyone and bringing it to life!

A huge shoutout to our entire team – you were ready to jump in, love big, and make this day unforgettable for the families we served. Thank you to everyone who brought energy, joy, and heart to this trip. We can’t wait for the next one!
