We Had A Blast at the Park!

This past Sunday, about 115 of us gathered for our Picnic at the Park! We had a meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, and bratwursts, with the grills handled by our college-bound guys from Youth Group, accompanied by lots of delicious sides, including watermelon, potato salad, and chips. We followed our picnic meal up with everyone’s favorite – a variety of cookies and cotton candy, also prepared by our youth!

It felt great to visit with each other, greet and reconnect with families, and play games of corn hole and spikeball! The 70′ Obstacle Bounce House was a favorite of the kids!

Our faith community gathered at the end of the Picnic, and all the kids and young adults who had just recently started school or were heading back to school received a blessing from all of us, led by Pastor John Rose.
