Ministry Highlights For 3rd Quarter

Enjoy some quick highlights from our ministry events in Q3:

Women of Canyon Springs

What an incredible quarter it’s been for the Women of Canyon Springs! Our morning Bible Study group reached a huge milestone of completing the entire Bible! For many, it was their first time reading through all of Scripture, a life-giving journey that deepened faith and revealed the beautiful meta-narrative of God’s perfect love and redemptive plan.

This quarter also included powerful spiritual growth moments at two conferences, one in April, featuring Priscilla Shirer, and another, the Found Collective in August, with speakers like Lisa Harper and Christine Caine. The women walked away encouraged to trust God with every detail of their lives, knowing He always leads with perfect love.

As fall arrived, the group enjoyed a fun and practical Cooking Demo, learning to master the Instant Pot while exploring how to praise God in the midst of everyday routines. It’s been a complete and fruitful season rich with friendship, laughter, and a more profound love for Jesus, the One who loves us most!

Children’s Ministry

Both AWANA and Club 45 have kicked off their new seasons, and our campus is buzzing with excitement. Each week, we have more than 100 kids, youth volunteers, and adult volunteers gathering to grow in faith and have fun together!

In AWANA, our kids are learning Bible stories through the theme of SNACKS- “tasting and seeing that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).

Over in Club 45, our 4th and 5th graders are exploring the Fruit of the Spirit through interactive games, engaging lessons, and powerful Bible stories. This month, they also prepared over 200 blessing bags filled with hygiene products to bless those experiencing homelessness across San Diego. What an incredible reminder that serving others with a generous heart brings joy!

In Sunday School, our incredible team of leaders is faithfully pouring into kids each week as we journey through the Bible in a year, focusing on foundational stories that help kids understand who God is. Our adult leaders continue to show up in a BIG way at Canyon Springs – we currently have 30 dedicated adults serving every week. We truly could not do this without them.

We have been reminded this quarter, of God’s faithfulness and the powerful ways He is working through every volunteer, every child, and every act of service. Thank you Canyon Springs.

OASIS Youth

Middle School Summer Camp @ Forest Home (July)

We took 50 students and eight leaders to Forest Home for an unforgettable week! Students experienced powerful worship, meaningful small groups, and plenty of fun! All while deepening their faith and friendships.

Sanctuary Sessions (July & August)

We continued cultivating a worship culture within OASIS through our summer Sanctuary Sessions, extended nights of worship, prayer, and reflection. These gatherings gave students space to slow down, focus on Jesus, and experience His presence in powerful ways.

Camp Sunday (August)

We celebrated all that God did this summer with a special Camp Sunday service! Several students were baptized, and we rejoiced together as a church family over the transformation that took place at camp.

ONE NIGHT (September)

We kicked off the fall with our biggest ONE NIGHT yet! Over 140 students in attendance! It was a high-energy night filled with fun, worship, and a clear gospel message. We’re celebrating three first-time decisions for Jesus that night!

Giving Update

As of September 30, 2025, year-to-date giving totaled $451,000 (inclusive of the 2025 Transformation Initiative giving of $36,000), which is $56,000 below our projected budget of $506,000. We’re grateful for your generosity and will continue stewarding every gift with faithfulness and transparency.
