Thank you for supporting the work God is doing through Canyon Springs Church. In an effort to keep our congregation better informed, we’re sharing quarterly updates on giving and ministry impact.

Ministry Highlights For 2nd Quarter

Enjoy some quick highlights from our ministry events in Q2:

VBS Week!

190 campers joined us for an incredible week of Vacation Bible School! We had 125 amazing volunteers-both parents and students-help make it happen. In fact, so many youth wanted to serve that we even had 27 students on a waitlist to volunteer! 21 students from Canyon Springs made first-time decisions to follow Jesus – a true highlight of the week. Thanks to the generous support of our church, we were able to scholarship 17 youth from Seeds of Hope, an organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged and refugee children through education, mentorship, and community connection. Our church also donated over $325 worth of snacks, helping offset VBS costs and ensuring that every child in our community could participate. Check out the Recap Here.

VBS Mexico!

Canyon Springs Church sent an incredible team of 27 – most of them youth and teens – on a one-day mission trip to Mexico, where we celebrated VBS with our friends at Visión de Dios. Our campers embraced generosity in a big way, raising over $2,900 to provide school supplies for kids in Mexico. They set up lemonade stands, dug through piggy banks, did extra chores, and asked their parents to join in. Their excitement to give was contagious! Check Out the Recap Here!

Women of Canyon Springs Spotlight Focus: Women’s AM Bible Study

The Women of Canyon Springs have embarked on a year-long commitment to read through the entire Bible; for many, this is their first time. We’ve completed the New Testament and are now working our way through the Old Testament, to finish in September. Here’s what  some of the women are saying about Tara-Leigh Cobble’s The Bible Recap reading program: “If it weren’t for Tara-Leigh’s encouragement, helpful instructions, and insight, I’m not sure I would have been able to get through some of the books in the Old  Testament!” Another shared: “I have never done such an in-depth study like this — and I’ve found it so enjoyable!” It’s been so fun to see the women excited about reading through the Bible. While it’s a huge task, they continue to share how much they are learning about who God is and what His character is like.

OASIS Youth

One Night Over 100 students packed the room for a powerful night of worship, fun, and gospel-centered teaching. Students brought friends, leaders showed up strong, and the energy was electric.

On Promotion Sunday, we celebrated the graduation of around 28 12th graders as they move into their next chapter. Also celebrated two baptisms, which is a beautiful picture of students making their faith public.

Houseboats, our biggest trip of the year, launched strong with 95 students and 35 adult leaders. Six students made first-time decisions to follow Jesus! The week was filled with community, deep worship, and hearts full of gratitude for who Jesus is and what he’s done.

Giving Update

As of June 30, 2025, year-to-date giving totaled $281,000, which is $58,000 below our projected budget of $336,000. (Please note: This does not include the additional $28,000 given explicitly toward the Transformation Initiative.) We’re grateful for your generosity and will continue stewarding every gift with faithfulness and transparency.
