AWANA Recap – April 20th

BARF Night was awesome! (As a reminder for those that don't know, nobody got sick; rather, they brought "real friends"!) We had 10+ friends join us for the first time and learn all about our Awana program. We're hoping to see many of them back in the coming weeks! Table time was very busy with all our visitors. Ms. Betsy [...]

AWANA Recap – April 13th

Sports Night was so much fun! Seeing all the clubbers arrive in their team uniforms and jerseys - they were very proud and super cute! Mr. John and Mr. Ryan put on some seriously competitive games and the clubbers were so into it! See the pics below... The clubbers missed having cereal last week (they'd gotten pretty used to that [...]

Club 45 Finale Recap

Our last Club 45 of the year... it was definitely bittersweet! The best part, though - it was a ton of FUN AND GAMES!! We spent the majority of the time playing group games. The team with the most points got to line up first for.... ice cream sundaes! While eating sundaes, we watched the slide show highlighting the whole year, since [...]

Club 45 Recap – March 7th

What a great night at Club 45! We had a full turn-out, despite the rain! :) The fact that they couldn't play outside didn't minimize the fun! The clubbers played all kinds of games like Connect Four, Mad Gab, Bounce Off, Guess Who and, of course, indoor football! Our group time started out with a super fun mixer - called [...]

Awana Recap – March 2nd

We wrapped up our Winter Session with a lot of noise - because it WAS....Snap Crackle Pop night! The clubbers got to snack on Rice Krispies during table time - yum! We went through several boxes as the clubbers really enjoyed it! I think maybe it helps them memorize their verses even better?! :) Mr. John orchestrated some awesome outside games; [...]

Awana Recap – Feb. 10th

HEARTS FOR JESUS! This was our theme last night at Awana and it was great to see all the clubbers and leaders decked out in an array of pink, red and hearts (in anticipation of Valentine's Day, of course!). I continue to be amazed at the kids' enthusiasm and their ability to memorize all these verses. They are so proud [...]

AWANA Recap – Feb 3rd

Sports Night was fantastic! Our clubbers were all decked out in their favorite team jerseys and uniforms. We continued the cereal theme and the clubbers were a little bit tricked because they were snacking on Cinnamon Toast Crunch (definitely a fan favorite!) but that was not actually our "feature" cereal! To go along with the sports theme, our cereal of [...]
