This Wednesday is Camp Wednesday!

This week at Midweeks, it’s Camp Wednesday! We’ll be highlighting some of the great things about camp and why students should sign up! It’s a great night for them to invite a friend who might want to go to camp so that they can get a glimpse into what may be our greatest summer yet! (See below for more camp information.)

And to celebrate Camp Wednesday, come early! Because from 7–7:30, we’ll be serving FREE PIZZA in the back alley! But you have to be there early! Once the night gets going, we’re making sure masks are up as we get to head INSIDE for the first time in over a year!

We’re Moving Inside!

You read that right! With California’s latest guidelines and requirements for churches, OASIS will be able to move inside this week! We will still be requiring masks, and we will not allow food inside to help ensure that masks stay up the whole time. But we’re excited that indoor OASIS is finally back, and back every week! Because we’re indoors, we’ll resume the normal weekly OASIS schedule.

How Can I Help?

Parents, we would love your help in providing snacks and drinks at OASIS for our pre-service and post-service outdoor hangout times. If you’d be interested in providing food or drinks, please let Luke know!

More Info on Camp

OASIS High School will be going to be heading to Hume SoCal for 6 days in the beautiful San Bernardino mountains. This brand new Hume campus will have all the great programming, recreation, and quality that Hume Lake brings to the summer camp experience but at a closer location that helps keep costs down for families.

Hume SoCal Essential Info:

Dates: Monday, July 5 – Saturday, July 10

Who can go? All current high school students in the 2020–2021 school year, and incoming freshmen (current 8th graders). 

How do I register? Registration opens on Sunday, April 25 at 3pm. You can sign up through the Church Center app or by visiting our Events page. And be ready to go right at 3:00 for a chance to be one of the OASIS All Stars! (More details below.)

Price: $599 ($125 deposit due at sign up)

OASIS All Stars

Because we love a little friendly competition here at OASIS, we thought we’d have a little fun with registration. This year, the first 4 to sign up, plus one person chosen at random after the first 24 hours become OASIS All Stars! All Stars receive:

• First dibs on seats on the bus
• First dibs on bunks in your cabin
• A camp care package full of delicious snacks to sustain your late night camp munchies
• Custom OASIS merch that only All Stars get

So be ready to go right when registration goes live! We’ll announce the All Stars at the next Midweeks.
