Whats Next?

Hey everyone, Jilane Hawkins here.  I am so excited to officially be leading our Oasis Middle School program.  I am looking forward to planning and executing activities and opportunities where students can experience and reflect Jesus in a safe and fun environment!!  This month I am taking the time to get to know and recruit volunteers that will be a part of our “dream team”.   I am so encouraged already with those the Lord already had in place and I am so grateful for the willingness of quality adults and older teens that He is bringing into this ministry.  Asher Schmtiz (our Oasis intern) and I are hard at work in meeting and recruiting these amazing volunteers.

Upcoming Summer Events

THIS THURSDAY, July 15th: Sink or Swim from 6-8pm at the Kaisers (15708 Bacara Ct. 92131).  You can register and pay our suggested $5 donation for food expenses here: https://canyonsprings.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/932095
We will have 2 other events this summer:
 July 29th:  “Camp at the Cove” from 6-8pm at our Cove facility  (9889 Hibert St. Suite A. 92131).  We will experience all the fun of camp in just 2 hours, as well as viewing our Forest Home CAMP VIDEO!!  $5
August 12th:  Sink or Swim from 6-8pm at the Kaisers. $5

I LOVE PARENTS!

I love parents.  You are the most influential voice in your middle schooler’s life and I would love your voice in this ministry.  If you would like to be a part of our parent’s prayer team, or our parent’s party planning team or our chaperone/driver team please reach out to me.  Any of these teams will be a great place to be involved and to not only be “in the know” of what is happening in Oasis Middle but also to have an impact on it.
